This is my first time going for Altair’s armor, and so far I have 4/6 seals for it, but I can’t get the 2 in Venice to appear on the map. Anyone know how to get them to appear? Archived post.
Answers. Nope, the game is going make you wear the armor at all times and it will tell you to like it that way. No you can't, but you can always just not purchase it in the first place. This add a much greater chalange to the game. (Therefore more replay value) Actually

Christ, you find out about Altair's armor before you even are able to get a full set of leather armor. HOLY SPOILER OVERREACTION. Altair's armor is completely optional to get anyway.
Assassin Tombs. To unlock the “Armor of Altair” set in the Sanctuary inside the Villa Auditore in Monteriggioni, you must collect six seals from the tombs of assassins long past. There are six such tombs in Assassin's Creed II. The first tomb you will visit is under the Santa Maria Novella during Sequence 4 as part of the main story.

You have to collect all the artifacts in all 7 of the helix rifts. That's it. You dont need to save the assassin or get the bonus for collecting extra data. Just the artifacts. You can also use the gear unlocker cheat engine script over on the fearless forums that lets you “buy” any outfit, gear, weapon etc for $1.

6. You need to go to your Villa and go to the armory/weapons room (it's to your left when you enter), you can change your equipment there. The room right after that is where you can switch out armor sets. Share.
