Iam trying to install a fresh Windows 10 on a 500GB M.2 SSD but the BIOS won't register the installed hardware. PC: Acer Aspire C22 820 AIO J5005 SSD: Crucial 500GB NVMe M.2 I tried disconnecting the 1TB SATA HDD but the Windows installer dont see any SDD installed either. Followthe instructions below to replace or upgrade your SSD. Use a small Phillips screwdriver to remove the screws on the lower case. Use a plastic pry tool or your fingers to remove the lower case. Disconnect the battery and remove it from the system. Remove the screw for the m.2 drive and remove it from the system.

Them.2 SSD should show up in the BIOS Information tab. Make sure the F12 boot option enabled in the BIOS Main tab. Also set and save a BIOS supervisor password. Then re-enter the BIOS with the password and disable secure boot. The boot installation stick should be made using Microsoft's media creation tool.

Ihave a Acer Aspire 3 - A315-31-POYK. The factory fitted SSD drive has failed so I bought a V-NAND SSD 970 EVO Plus NVMe M.2. I am trying to do a clean install of windows 10 from a usb drive but this new SSD drive is not showing up. Is this new SSD drive compatible with this laptop.
