On a daytime flight, Premium Select is extremely competitive. Obviously Delta One Business Class is more comfortable, but it’s also more expensive. For that it was worth it. If you end up checking a bag and don’t have a Delta CC, the $192 is “slightly less” when you factor in the cost to check a bag in main cabin or C+. One way to look at the FC upgrade price 😆. Free alcoholic drinks in C+ and the leg room with "dedicated overhead bin space" seems worth it to me.
