Engine cooling fan not cutting in Peugeot 206 2002 Cooling fan and motor have been replaced with main dealer parts. Try the cooling fan switch, it looks like a large brass nut with wires on it on the thermostat housing or radiator. To test, pull off the wires and connect together, turn on ignition and the fans should cut in.

206, 1.4 HDi, year 2006, 100k miles. Car was working fine, parked up, went to use a few hours later and it doesn't crank, just a relay click from the bsi unit and a click from the solenoid of the starter motor. Battery voltage is good, not a battery issue, thought it was the starter motor and just spent this morning replacing it with no difference.

The relevant para. reads: "The engine code is stamped on a plate attached to the front of the cylinder. block. This is the code most often used by Peugeot. The code given in. brackets is the factory identification number, and is not often referred to. by Peugeot or this manual." Hope that helps. I will show you how I replace a starter motor on a Peugeot 206. Unfortunately the quality is not as good as in my Japanese cars that I've had previously and currently. The starter motor

A couple of weeks ago, I bought a 2007 Peugeot 206 Look 3 door 1.4 8 valve petrol (with a very high clutch biting point). I haven't had many problems with it thus far but I'm having an issue when starting it. When starting from cold, the engine cranks but will refuse to start unless the accelerator is pressed. Which model is it, year etc. on a 95 pug 306 XL 1.4 its quite difficult to get at ( im trying to change mine now) if you look at the rocker cover (top of the engine) its towards the cockpit at the back of the engine on the right. an easier way to find it is to follow the leads off of the battery one should go behind the engine and to the starter.

If the steering has got heavy check the appropriate fuse to make sure that hasn't blown, they should be listed in your handbook. If it has, replace it but keep an eye on it as fuses don't normally blow for nothing. If it hasn't blown then the motor has probably burnt out but that normally blows the fuse. 2008 Peugeot 207 GTi.
